Properties of cuboids
3D is 2D plus depth. A cuboid has 6 faces, 12 edges, and 8 vertices — a count you can check. Students identify cubes and cuboids, build from unit cubes, and draw isometric and orthographic views without double-counting hidden cubes.

Students can
identify cubes and cuboids; count faces, edges, vertices; build from unit cubes; draw isometric and orthographic views.
Ready when
from an isometric of a 7-cube structure, they give the cube count and a top view.
Watch for
hidden cubes in a drawing counted twice or not at all.
